After trying out on SkinFood Grape Cell BB cream, and found that SkinFood BB cream has more yellow undertones that fits perfectly for tropical Asian skin, I decide to explore further on the different types of BB creams they offer.
I ordered some samples to try.
Sadly, the seller that I ordered from doesn’t state the shade color of the sample in the product description – I believe that for Mushroom Multi Care BB Cream, only #2 shade is available in sample packs – or I will not order the sample for Mushroom BB cream. #2 shade is definitely too dark for my NC15 skin profile.
Product – Skinfood Mushroom Multi Care BB Cream SPF20
This triple-function BB cream provides UV protection and deep moisturizing to the skin with aloe and mushroom extracts, while arbutin and adenosine make skin clear and resilient.
Runny, but slightly thicker than Grape Cell
Lightly perfumed scent, not overwhelming to me.
Coverage: (See image for comparison)
I have Petechiea (pin sized red dots – said to be bleeding under the skin) on my arms, as well as a tiny mole. It makes perfect ‘canvas’ to paint the BB cream over.
The coverage is medium from photo, but I cannot accurately gauge the coverage as this is the wrong color for me.
A little goes a long way for most SkinFood BB creams which are more like foundation.

A slight tackiness immediately after application; dries after a while
My skin color profile is NC15. I can’t really tell if the #1 shade may fit better, since I was given #2.
Quite moisturizing, but not oily.
Just average, like most BB creams.
I ordered the samples on Qoo10 (below link), but as mentioned earlier, there is no indication of the shade for the samples you are purchasing, so you might want to post a question to the seller before buying.
For full size BB creams, I recommend:
