I bought the Now Solutions Clay Powder when I was on my vacation at Bend, Oregon. I only used it once while there, and then, life got really hectic, and then, I was busy relocating to Perth! Now that I am more ‘settled in’, I start using the clay mask again, but more ‘adventurous’ with the mixture. I added Aura…
I noticed a subtle change; a sharper chin and leaner cheeks, but it’s very subtle, so I dismissed that as a psychological expectation. It is until I put the photos side by side for comparison! After this photo comparison, I became more enthusiastic in using the ReFa! I should try using on my tummy and thighs!
The ReFa CARAT is designed to replicate the gentle pinching and kneading sensation that an Aesthetician might include as part of your treatment. These actions stimulate your skin and the muscles below and increase circulation. The ReFa CARAT works on your body such as:
Dr Jart Dis-a-pore Bb
Gowoonsesang Brightening Balm Spf 30 Pa++
Elishacoy Premium Gold Mineral Bb Cream
Lovemore Deep Sea Water Hydrating Mask
I will try them out, but I am guessing that it’s going to take a while. I have this common obsession like many women, in hoarding TOO MANY beauty products.
I have always wanted to try Dr Jart bb cream, so I am quite excited! Monday, perhaps. 😛
Benefits of the ingredients:
Eggs – rich in Vit A, D, and E. Also rich in protein, fatty acids, and sulfur. These properties are great for hair in restoring shine and lustre, strengthening hair shaft and hair loss prevention.
Cider vinegar – Rich in potassium (hair growth). It also repairs damaged hair by restoring the protective layer on hair strands. Cider vinegar also cleanses the scalp of chemicals built-up and aids scalp to breathe and opens the pores in the skin.
Olive Oil – Rich in antioxidants that reduces damage to hair caused by chemicals or styling products. Olive oil has been used for centuries as a natural hair conditioner as it makes hair shiny and soft. It also has anti fungi and antibacterial properties to fight off dandruff and other conditions.
Coconut oil – very nourishing, and due to the molecular structure, it reconditions the dry and damaged hair very effectively. The capric acid, vitamin E, and lauric acid aid in restoring the hair’s vitality and strength.
Rosemary EO – commonly used to stimulate hair growth and hair health.
I absolutely love this hot oil treatment! My hair is softer immediately after first use. I am using the hot oil treatment once every three days now, because my hair is really damaged. I plan to continue to use the treatment every fortnight when my hair is (hopefully) recovered.
About the Oils:
Coconut oil is very nourishing, and due to the molecular structure, it reconditions the dry and damaged hair very effectively. The presence of capric acid, vitamin E, and lauric acid aid in restoring the hair’s vitality and strength.
Castor oil is high in ricinoleic acid and omega 9 fatty acid; the earlier is a natural antibacterial and anti-fungal agent that helps in hair growth, the latter helps to nourish the hair and follicle. Accordingly, it aids in adding glossy effect to hair.
Apricot Kernel Oil contains linoleum acid and oleic acid that are unsaturated fats, and is rich in vitamin B17, A, C, E, which are effective ingredients for hair care. This oil helps to cure split ends and treat exceptionally dry hair.
Rosemary essential oil is commonly used to stimulate hair growth and hair health.
The Avocado Banana Hair Mask
This is a fruit based hair mask. The fruits used are avocado and banana.
Avocado is high in healing nutrients (phytochemicals, antioxidant, amino acids, and minerals) which promotes hair growth, nourishes and strengthens hair; most important, it heals damaged hair ends. (VERY important factor for me!)
Whereas banana has many nutrients (similar to avocado actually) that prevents split ends and soften the hair texture.
Grapeseed oil is high in linoleic acid (omega-6 fatty acid) that combats dryness and sealing the moisture.
Rosemary essential oil is broadly used to prevent hair loss, but honestly, I use this only because I don’t want to smell like walking banana or avocado!
